Inconel 718 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy renowned for its exceptional strength and corrosion resistance from cryogenic temperatures up to about 700°C (1300°F).
The combination of Ni, Cr, Fe, and Nb+Ti enables outstanding strength through age-hardening (forming γ'' and γ' precipitates) and excellent oxidation resistance.
RACHIN's Inconel 718 bolts are typically supplied in the solution-treated and aged condition (per AMS 5662/5663, ASTM B637). Properties can be tailored to specific standards (e.g., ASTM, ASME, DIN).
High-Temperature Performance: Maintains high tensile, creep, and rupture strength up to ~700°C.
Exceptional Corrosion Resistance: Excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and oxidation in harsh environments (e.g., aerospace, oil & gas).
Good Fabricability: Can be machined and formed with standard methods, then age-hardened to achieve peak strength.
Applications: Critical for aerospace (engine mounts, turbine components), oil & gas (downhole tools, wellhead components), power generation, and chemical processing.
RACHIN ensures strict quality control throughout the production process, from material certification to final inspection, guaranteeing that every Inconel 718 bolt meets or exceeds the specified industry standards for performance and reliability.
Note: The values provided are typical minimums or ranges. Exact specifications for your application should be confirmed with RACHIN's technical datasheets and sales engineers.
