RAYCHIN LIMITED is a leading manufacturer of Nimonic bolts – a comprehensive range of precision bolts produced from age‑hardenable nickel‑chromium‑cobalt superalloys. These alloys deliver exceptional high‑temperature strength, outstanding oxidation resistance, and reliable bolting performance in the most demanding aerospace, power generation, and defense applications. Our product line includes Nimonic hex bolts, socket head cap bolts, flange bolts, stud bolts, and fully custom bolting – all manufactured to the highest precision standards. Nimonic alloys (Nimonic 90, Nimonic 80A, Nimonic 75) are precipitation‑hardenable nickel‑based superalloys with high chromium and cobalt contents and additions of titanium and aluminum, providing outstanding mechanical properties up to 980°C (1800°F). These alloys exhibit high stress‑rupture strength, excellent creep resistance, and superior oxidation resistance in high‑temperature environments. The high‑temperature strength of Nimonic alloys is derived from gamma prime (γ') phase Ni₃(Al, Ti) precipitation hardening. Our portfolio includes all standard and custom configurations manufactured to NAS, AN, MS, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, SAE, API, NACE, ISO, DIN and KS standards. Whether you require Nimonic bolts for gas turbine engines, missile systems, or high‑temperature processing equipment, RAYCHIN delivers precision, quality, and full traceability. All mechanical properties are presented in MPa and ksi.
Nimonic hex bolts are precision manufactured external wrenching bolts designed for general‑purpose high‑temperature bolting. Available in inch series per ASME B18.2.1 and metric series per ISO 4014 / ISO 4017 / DIN 931 / DIN 933. Configurations include fully threaded and partially threaded options. Diameters from M3 to M64 (#0 to 2½"). Ideal for gas turbine casing flanges, pressure vessels, and high‑temperature structural attachments up to 920°C.
Nimonic socket head cap bolts feature precision hexagon socket drives per ASME B18.3 (inch) and ISO 4762 / DIN 912 (metric). The internal hex drive allows for high tightening torques and secure installation in confined spaces. Available in diameters from M1.6 to M48 (#0 to 2"). Widely used in gas turbine engine components, compressor and rotor discs, shafts, and seals where operating temperatures reach 800°C.
Nimonic flange bolts incorporate an integrated flange that distributes the clamping load over a wider area, eliminating the need for a separate washer. Available in inch (ASME B18.2.1) and metric (ISO 4162 / DIN 6921) configurations. Ideal for high‑temperature flange connections in turbine casings, exhaust systems, and petrochemical equipment where vibration and thermal cycling are present.
Nimonic stud bolts (fully threaded studs) and double‑end studs are offered with two heavy hex nuts (if required) per ASME B16.5 / B16.47. Manufactured to ASTM B637 / DIN EN10269 specifications. Available in all diameters with thread lengths per customer specification. Extensively used in high‑temperature piping systems, valve bonnet bolting, and pressure vessel closures in power generation and oil & gas.
Need special head configurations, proprietary drives, non‑standard lengths, or unique thread forms? RAYCHIN engineers design and produce custom Nimonic bolts to your exact specifications – any condition (solution treated, precipitation hardened), with full material traceability. Prototype to production volumes supported. Cleanroom wash and packaging available for sensitive applications.
We manufacture Nimonic bolts in all dimensional series: UNC, UNF, 8UN (inch) and coarse, fine pitch (metric). Compliant with NAS, AN, MS, ASME, ISO, DIN, KS. Nuts (hex, heavy hex, jam) available in matching Nimonic grades. Silver plating per AMS 2410 available for anti‑seize and enhanced conductivity.

Nimonic 90 meets NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156‑3 requirements for sour service. Hot Gas Expander components operating up to 760°C from Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) units utilize Nimonic bolts for flange connections and seal retention. Resists sulfidation and hot corrosion in sulfur‑containing environments.
Nimonic bolts in high‑temperature furnace components, heat treating equipment, chemical processing systems, and thermal reactor assemblies. Nimonic 75 bolts are used for industrial furnace structural parts and heat treatment fixtures requiring oxidation resistance up to 1050°C. Withstands combustion environments due to excellent resistance to relaxation at elevated temperatures.
Nimonic bolts in naval propulsion systems, marine gas turbines, and nuclear engineering applications. Excellent performance in salt spray environments and resistance to high‑temperature corrosion. Nimonic 80A is specified for tube support parts of nuclear boilers and steam generators due to its combination of strength and corrosion resistance. Nimonic 75 is used in nuclear engineering for components requiring good corrosion resistance.
Nimonic bolts in high‑performance turbochargers, exhaust systems, and racing engine components for extreme‑duty applications. Nimonic 80A is widely used in the automotive industry for exhaust valve bolts, turbine housing attachments, and other components exposed to severe thermal cycling. Nimonic 90 bolts are used in racing applications requiring maximum high‑temperature strength up to 920°C for exhaust manifold flanges and turbocharger attachments.
RAYCHIN LIMITED manufactures Nimonic bolts from vacuum induction melted (VIM) and vacuum arc remelted (VAR) or electroslag remelted (ESR) material conforming to the most widely used national and international specifications. All material is traceable to the mill.
Our Nimonic bolts are produced from vacuum induction melted (VIM) and vacuum arc remelted (VAR) material conforming to the limits of applicable AMS, BS, and ASTM standards.
Metallurgical note: Nimonic alloys are precipitation‑hardening nickel‑based superalloys strengthened through the formation of gamma prime (γ') phase Ni₃(Al, Ti) in a disordered FCC matrix. Nimonic 90 contains cobalt additions (15‑21%) for enhanced solid solution strengthening and creep resistance at elevated temperatures up to 920°C. Nimonic 80A is strengthened with aluminum and titanium additions and offers good creep and oxidation resistance up to 815°C, with wide application in gas turbine bolts. Nimonic 75 is a solid‑solution strengthened alloy with good oxidation resistance up to 1050°C and excellent fabricability. The alloys are produced by vacuum induction melting (VIM) and vacuum arc remelting (VAR) or electroslag remelting (ESR) to ensure high purity and consistent properties.

Nimonic alloys are renowned for exceptional high‑temperature strength and stability, maintaining useful mechanical properties up to 980°C (1800°F) in oxidizing atmospheres. Nimonic 90 exhibits high stress‑rupture strength and excellent creep resistance up to 920°C, making it ideal for critical bolting in gas turbines and aerospace assemblies where sustained mechanical integrity is required at elevated temperatures. The alloy maintains significant strength at elevated temperatures with good oxidation resistance, allowing bolts to maintain preload and clamping force under extreme thermal cycling. Nimonic 80A offers good creep and oxidation resistance up to 815°C and is widely used in gas turbine bolts, nuclear applications, and automotive exhaust valves. Nimonic 75 provides good oxidation resistance up to 1050°C for less demanding applications requiring medium strength, such as industrial furnace components and heat treatment fixtures. The γ' phase strengthening mechanism ensures stable microstructure during long‑term high‑temperature service.
Nimonic alloys offer outstanding corrosion resistance in high‑temperature oxidizing environments, making them suitable for the most demanding applications in gas turbines, aerospace, and industrial processing.
