Hook Bolts

Hook bolt is a bolt with a hooked end and a threaded end that receives a nut. Hook bolts are used to hang items on walls or ceilings, and can carry heavier loads than hook screws. They are also better suited for concrete, blocks, or bricks.
Hook bolts can also be called retainer bolts because they have a retainer that is permanently attached to the head of the bolt. The retainer is then engaged in an adjacent hole, slot, or over-the-edge of the assembly.
