RAYCHIN LIMITED is a leading manufacturer of Titanium Washers – precision flat washers, lock washers, spring washers, and specialty washers produced from high-strength titanium alloys, delivering exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and reliable performance in the most demanding aerospace, medical, marine, and chemical processing applications. Washers are critical components in bolted assemblies, providing load distribution, bearing surfaces, and precise spacing while protecting adjacent components from galling and wear. Titanium alloys offer a unique combination of high specific strength (approximately 45% lighter than steel with comparable strength), exceptional corrosion resistance in seawater and chemical environments, excellent biocompatibility, and complete non-magnetic properties. Our product line encompasses all major configurations including Grade 5 titanium washers (Ti-6Al-4V) for maximum strength, Grade 2 titanium washers (commercially pure) for enhanced corrosion resistance, and Grade 7 titanium washers (Ti-Pd) for extreme chemical resistance – all manufactured to the highest precision standards with ±0.02 mm tolerances. Our portfolio includes all standard and custom configurations manufactured to NAS, AN, MS, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, SAE, API, NACE, ISO, DIN and KS standards, including ASME B18.22.1 (flat washers), ISO 7089 / DIN 125 (metric washers), ASTM F467 (nuts and washers), and ASTM F468 (bolts). Whether you require titanium washers for aircraft assemblies, medical implants, marine equipment, or semiconductor manufacturing, RAYCHIN delivers precision, quality, and full traceability. All mechanical properties are presented in MPa and ksi (kilopound per square inch).
Titanium flat washers are precision manufactured components designed to distribute load over a larger bearing surface area, preventing galling and embedding while providing accurate spacing in lightweight assemblies. Available in inch series per ASME B18.22.1 and metric series per ISO 7089 / DIN 125. Sizes from #0 to 2" (M1.6 to M48) with standard outside diameters 2x nominal bolt diameter. Thickness tolerances ±0.02 mm. Grade 5 offers maximum strength for aerospace applications, while Grade 2 provides superior corrosion resistance for marine environments.
Titanium lock washers feature serrated or split designs that physically bite into the contact surface, effectively preventing nuts from loosening under vibration or shock. Serrated washers provide strong mechanical grip through serrated faces, while split washers offer spring action for anti-loosening. ISO 2320 tested: retain ≥80% preload after 30 cycles. Made from Grade 5 titanium, zero pitting after 1000-hour salt spray test. Available in M4-M20 sizes with internal/external tooth configurations.
Titanium Belleville washers are conical-shaped elastic discs designed to deliver consistent, controllable preload in environments with vibration and thermal cycling. Ideal for maintaining bolt tension under dynamic loading conditions. ISO 10289 tested: retain ≥85% preload after 30,000 cycles. Made from Grade 5 titanium, stable performance from −200°C to 400°C. Precision tolerances on ID, OD, and thickness within ±0.02 mm. Compensates for thermal expansion and contraction in engine components and high-temperature assemblies.
Titanium fender washers feature a much larger outer diameter compared to the center hole (O.D. up to 3× the I.D.), providing increased bearing area for soft materials or oversized holes. Manufactured to DIN 9021 and ASTM F436 standards. Available in M4–M20 sizes with custom options: multi-hole, special shapes, and anodized colors. Ideal for automotive fenders, marine hardware, and composite material assemblies where load distribution is critical.
Grade 5 titanium washers are produced from Ti-6Al-4V alloy (UNS R56400), the most widely used titanium alloy offering the highest strength-to-weight ratio. With tensile strength ≥ 895 MPa and density of 4.43 g/cm³, these washers are approximately 45% lighter than steel equivalents while providing superior strength. Grade 5 is 4 times stronger than 316 stainless steel at nearly half the weight. Meets ASTM F467, ASTM F468, and AMS 4928 standards. Ideal for aerospace, motorsports, and high-performance applications requiring maximum strength with minimum weight.

RAYCHIN engineers design and produce custom titanium washers to your exact specifications – any grade (Grade 5, Grade 2, Grade 7, Grade 12, Grade 23 ELI), any condition (annealed, stress-relieved), with full material traceability. Stamped, laser cut, or CNC machined to precision tolerances. Surface finishes available include plain, passivated, anodized (blue, gold, purple, red, black), and PTFE-coated for enhanced lubricity. Prototype to production volumes supported. Cleanroom wash and packaging available for medical and semiconductor applications.
RAYCHIN LIMITED manufactures titanium washers from vacuum arc remelted (VAR) or plasma arc melted material conforming to the most widely used national and international specifications. All material is traceable to the mill with complete certifications.
Our titanium washers are produced from vacuum arc remelted (VAR) or plasma arc melted material conforming to the limits of applicable ASTM and AMS standards.
Metallurgical note: Titanium alloys are lightweight metals with density approximately 4.43-4.51 g/cm³ – about 45% lighter than steel while offering comparable or superior strength. Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is an alpha-beta alloy strengthened through a combination of aluminum (alpha stabilizer) and vanadium (beta stabilizer), providing excellent strength, fatigue resistance, and corrosion resistance. Grade 2 is commercially pure titanium with exceptional corrosion resistance and formability, ideal for marine and chemical applications. Grade 7 contains palladium additions (0.12-0.25%) that significantly enhance corrosion resistance in reducing acids and crevice conditions. All titanium alloys exhibit exceptional corrosion resistance due to the formation of a stable, self-healing oxide layer (TiO₂) that provides protection in seawater, acids, and oxidizing environments. Titanium is completely non-magnetic (magnetic permeability <1.02) and exhibits minimal gas discharge, making it ideal for semiconductor and medical imaging applications. When using titanium washers in conjunction with stainless steel or aluminum components, consider adding a dry film lubricant or anti-seize compound to prevent galling – a common issue due to titanium's tendency to cold-weld under high pressure.
Titanium washers are supplied in annealed condition per applicable ASTM specifications. Data represent typical values based on industry standards.
Note: Grade 5 titanium is 4 times stronger than 316 stainless steel at nearly half the weight.
Maximum continuous service temperature: Grade 5 – 370°C (700°F); Grade 2 – 260°C (500°F). At temperatures above 900°C, protective coatings such as TiAlN are required to prevent oxidation and alpha-case formation.
Titanium alloys are renowned for their outstanding corrosion resistance, often outperforming stainless steel in aggressive environments. The material forms a stable, adherent, and self-healing oxide layer (TiO₂) that provides protection against a wide range of corrosive media. In salt spray testing (10% NaCl, 35°C), titanium exhibits corrosion rates less than 0.01 mm/year, compared to 0.1 mm/year for 304 stainless steel. Titanium is virtually immune to seawater corrosion up to 260°C (500°F) and can survive at ocean depths over a mile below the surface.
All titanium washers are manufactured and tested to meet the following standards:
We offer surface finishes: plain (as-stamped), passivated, anodized (blue, gold, purple, red, black), PTFE-coated (anti-galling), and DLC (low friction).
