RAYCHIN LIMITED is a recognized expert in Incoloy set screws — from Incoloy cup point set screws, Incoloy cone point set screws, Incoloy flat point set screws, Incoloy half-dog point set screws to custom non-standard configurations across all major Incoloy grades. Set screws, also known as grub screws, are headless screws designed to secure rotating parts such as gears, pulleys, and shafts. They feature various point styles to suit different applications and are available with hex socket or slotted drive. Incoloy alloys are nickel-iron-chromium superalloys designed for high-temperature and corrosive service. The family includes Incoloy 800 series (800, 800H, 800HT) optimized for high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance up to 1150°C, and Incoloy 825/925 grades with molybdenum and copper additions for exceptional resistance to reducing acids and sour gas environments. The high nickel content ensures resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, while chromium provides oxidation resistance. Our portfolio includes set screws manufactured to NAS, AN, MS, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, SAE, API, NACE, ISO, DIN and KS standards. Engineered for the most demanding environments where high-temperature strength, corrosion resistance, and secure shaft retention are critical. Incoloy set screws are supplied in solution annealed condition (or aged for 925) with full traceability and third-party certifications.
The most commonly used set screw style, featuring a cup-shaped indentation on the end. The cup point edge cuts into the shaft or inner object, providing excellent resistance to rotational slippage. Ideal for quick, semi-permanent or permanent assembly applications in high-temperature and corrosive environments. Available in sizes from M2 to M24 and #0 to 1".
Features a sharp cone-shaped point that provides the strongest clamping force due to deep penetration into the mating surface. The cone point creates a positive locking action that prevents loosening under severe vibration and thermal cycling. Ideal for permanent assembly applications where maximum holding power is required in extreme environments.
Features a flat, smooth bottom surface. This style is used when frequent adjustment or disassembly is required and minimal shaft deformation is desired. The flat point does not mar the mating surface, allowing for repeated repositioning. Ideal for applications requiring precise alignment and frequent maintenance in corrosive environments.
Features a cylindrical projection that fits into a matching hole in the shaft, providing positive positioning and maximum resistance to axial movement. The half-dog point is ideal for applications requiring precise location and where the set screw must withstand thrust loads. Ideal for high-temperature and corrosive applications where positive positioning is critical.
Incoloy cup point set screws feature a cup-shaped indentation on the end that cuts into the mating surface for excellent holding power. Ideal for high-temperature corrosive applications up to 1150°C for grade 800 series, and up to 540°C for acid service with grade 825. Available with hex socket or slotted drive. Sizes from M2 to M24 (metric) and #0 to 1" (inch). Precision formed cup points ensure consistent bite and holding power. Supplied in solution annealed condition per ASTM standards.
Incoloy cone point set screws feature a sharp cone-shaped point that provides the strongest clamping force through deep penetration into the mating surface. Ideal for applications requiring maximum holding power in extreme environments. Available with hex socket or slotted drive. Sizes from M2 to M24 (metric) and #0 to 1" (inch). Precision-formed cone points are sharp and concentric for consistent performance. Available in all Incoloy grades.
Incoloy flat point set screws feature a flat, smooth bottom surface that does not mar the mating surface, allowing for repeated repositioning. Ideal for applications requiring frequent adjustment and disassembly in corrosive environments. Available with hex socket or slotted drive. Sizes from M2 to M24 (metric) and #0 to 1" (inch). Precision-formed flat points are perfectly square for consistent seating.
Incoloy half-dog point set screws feature a cylindrical projection that fits into a matching hole in the shaft, providing positive positioning and maximum resistance to axial movement. Ideal for applications requiring precise location and where the set screw must withstand thrust loads in corrosive environments. Available with hex socket or slotted drive. Sizes from M2 to M24 (metric) and #0 to 1" (inch).
Incoloy set screws certified to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour service applications in oil and gas industry. Incoloy 825 and 925 grades are qualified for H₂S environments at elevated temperatures. Incoloy 925 offers premium resistance to sulfide stress cracking with yield strengths up to 760 MPa in aged condition. Available in all point styles with 100% NDT available including PMI, UT, and MPI. Full traceability and material certifications per ASTM standards.
