Alloy 330 (1.4864) fasteners are specifically designed for high temperature furnace applications such as vacuum furnaces, heat treating and brazing applications. The most prized trait of alloy 330 is its ability perform under cyclic conditions of temperature extremes from heating and cooling; as well as in alternate carburizing and oxidizing atmospheres. An austenitic, nickel-chromium-iron-silicon alloy, 330 fasteners also offer industry a low coefficient of expansion, excellent ductility, and high strength.
RAYCHIN LIMITED is a recognized expert in Alloy 330 fasteners — from Alloy 330 bolts, Alloy 330 nuts, Alloy 330 screws, Alloy 330 washers to Alloy 330 stud bolts and Alloy 330 threaded rods. Our portfolio includes heavy hex bolts, hex nuts, socket head cap screws, flat and lock washers, continuous thread rods, double‑end studs, and custom non‑standard fasteners. Alloy 330 (UNS N08330 / 1.4886) is an austenitic nickel‑chromium‑iron alloy with silicon addition, specifically designed for high‑temperature service up to 1150°C (2100°F) and excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and thermal shock. Ideal for furnace equipment, heat treatment fixtures, petrochemical heaters, and power generation.

Corrosion Resistance of Alloy 330 Fasteners
Alloy 330 is primarily designed for high‑temperature environments, but it offers good resistance to many corrosive media:
Oxidation: Exceptional resistance in air up to 1150°C due to high chromium and silicon.
Carburization: High nickel content resists carbon absorption in carbon‑rich atmospheres.
Nitriding: Good resistance to ammonia/nitriding gases at elevated temperatures.
Aqueous corrosion: Similar to 310 stainless; resists many organic acids, but not intended for strong reducing acids or chlorides.
Stress corrosion cracking: High nickel provides immunity to chloride SCC in most conditions.
Corrosion Engineering Note: For cyclic oxidation or sulfidation environments, RAYCHIN can advise optimized surface condition. Third‑party testing per ASTM G54 (oxidization) available. Not recommended for seawater or strong chloride solutions – for those we offer 254 SMO or 6% Mo grades.
Special focus: Alloy 330 Fasteners for High‑Temperature & Furnace Applications
For critical applications in heat treating, petrochemical, and power generation, RAYCHIN offers Alloy 330 fasteners to ASTM, ASME, and customer specifications:
Traceability: EN 10204 3.1/3.2, third‑party (DNV, Lloyds, TÜV) available
Custom: non‑standard lengths, head configurations, special undercut studs
All Alloy 330 fasteners are supplied with full material traceability and positive material identification (PMI).
