RAYCHIN LIMITED is a world‑leading manufacturer of Titanium security screws – precision tamper-proof fasteners produced from commercially pure titanium and titanium alloys. Titanium offers an exceptional combination of properties: density of 4.51 g/cm³ (42% lighter than steel), ultimate tensile strength up to 1100 MPa for alloys, outstanding corrosion resistance in seawater and chlorides, and complete biocompatibility. Our security screws feature specialized drive designs that require matching security bits, preventing unauthorized removal and vandalism. Our product line encompasses all major security drive types including Torx pin screws, pin Torx screws, spanner screws (two-hole), one-way screws, tri-wing screws, and snake-eye screws – all manufactured to the highest precision standards. Our portfolio includes all standard and custom configurations manufactured to NAS, AN, MS, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, SAE, API, NACE, ISO, DIN and KS standards. Whether you require Titanium security screws for aerospace electronics, medical devices, public infrastructure, or defense systems, RAYCHIN delivers precision, quality, and full traceability. All mechanical properties are presented in MPa and ksi.
Titanium Torx pin screws feature a standard Torx drive with a center pin that prevents insertion of standard Torx bits. Requires matching security Torx bit with corresponding hole. Available in head styles: pan, flat, button, socket. Ideal for aerospace electronics, public seating, and security panels where vandalism prevention is critical. Grade 5 offers high strength; Grade 2 provides excellent corrosion resistance for outdoor applications.
Titanium pin Torx screws (also called Torx with pin) are identical to Torx pin but naming convention varies by region. Manufactured to customer specifications with precision pin placement. Available in all head styles. Widely used in automotive security, medical devices, and defense equipment requiring tamper resistance.
Titanium spanner screws feature two small holes in the head, requiring a special spanner bit with two matching pins. Also known as snake-eye or pig-nose screws. Available in pan, flat, and button head styles. Ideal for public infrastructure, restroom partitions, and street furniture where common tools cannot remove them. Excellent corrosion resistance for outdoor applications.
Titanium one-way screws feature a sloped drive design that allows installation with standard tools but prevents removal. The head geometry cams out when reverse torque is applied. Ideal for permanent installations where removal should be impossible. Used in license plates, security signage, and permanent fixtures.
Titanium tri-wing screws feature three angled slots requiring matching tri-wing bits. Common in aerospace and electronics where tamper resistance and controlled access are required. Manufactured to customer specifications with precise wing geometry. Grade 5 provides high strength for critical applications.
Need proprietary drive designs, special head configurations, non‑standard lengths, or unique tamper features? RAYCHIN engineers design and produce custom Titanium security screws to your exact specifications – any grade (Grade 2, Grade 5, Grade 7, Grade 23), any condition (annealed, STA), with full material traceability. Prototype to production volumes supported.
Titanium security screws are extensively used in avionics bays, flight control systems, and sensitive electronics compartments. Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) screws offer tensile strength up to 1100 MPa at 60% the weight of steel, providing critical weight savings while preventing unauthorized access. Torx pin and tri-wing drives secure flight data recorders, navigation systems, and weapons bay doors. Compliant with NAS, MS, and AMS specifications.
Titanium security screws are used in surgical instruments, diagnostic equipment, and medical device housings. Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) per ASTM F136 offers enhanced biocompatibility. Tamper-proof drives prevent unauthorized disassembly of calibration-critical devices and protect patient safety. Spanner and pin Torx screws secure MRI machines, CT scanners, and implantable device programmers.
Titanium security screws in public seating, restroom partitions, street signs, and park fixtures. Titanium's exceptional corrosion resistance ensures decades of service in outdoor environments without rust or degradation. Spanner and one-way screws prevent vandalism and theft of public assets. Used in transportation hubs, schools, and government buildings worldwide.
Titanium security screws in EV charging stations, battery compartments, and high-value automotive components. Torx pin screws prevent theft of charging cables and protect sensitive electronics. Grade 5's high strength-to-weight ratio reduces overall vehicle weight while securing critical systems. Used in Formula 1, luxury vehicles, and public charging infrastructure.
Titanium security screws in server racks, network equipment, and cell tower enclosures. Tamper-proof drives prevent unauthorized access to critical infrastructure. Titanium's non‑magnetic properties (<1.00005 permeability) are essential for sensitive electronic equipment. Spanner and pin Torx screws secure fiber optic distribution frames and base station electronics.
Titanium security screws in offshore platforms, shipboard electronics, and underwater instrumentation. Titanium is virtually immune to seawater corrosion, with no measurable attack after decades of immersion. Spanner screws secure access panels on navigation equipment and communication systems where tamper resistance and corrosion protection are required.
RAYCHIN LIMITED manufactures Titanium security screws from material conforming to the most widely used national and international specifications. All material is traceable to the mill.
Our Titanium security screws are produced from material conforming to the limits of applicable ASTM, AMS, and ISO standards. High‑purity grades available for medical and semiconductor applications.
Metallurgical note: Titanium is an allotropic element with a hexagonal close-packed (α) structure at room temperature, transforming to body-centered cubic (β) at 882°C. CP grades are α-phase, while alloying with aluminum stabilizes α-phase, and vanadium/molybdenum stabilize β-phase. Ti-6Al-4V is an α+β alloy combining high strength with good ductility. The natural oxide layer (TiO₂) is 2-5 nm thick, self‑healing, and responsible for titanium's exceptional corrosion resistance. Titanium is non‑magnetic with magnetic permeability <1.00005, essential for electronic and medical applications.
Titanium security screws are supplied in appropriate conditions (annealed for CP grades, solution treated and aged for Grade 5) per ASTM B348, ASTM F136, and customer specifications. Data represent typical values based on industry standards.
Note: Prolonged exposure above 300°C may cause oxidation; protective coatings recommended above 500°C.
Titanium alloys retain significant strength at elevated temperatures up to 500°C, making them suitable for aerospace and industrial applications. Ti-6Al-4V maintains useful mechanical properties up to 315°C (600°F) for extended service, and up to 500°C (932°F) for short-term exposure. The alloy exhibits excellent creep resistance at moderate temperatures. However, titanium becomes increasingly reactive with oxygen above 500°C, forming an oxygen-enriched brittle α-case layer that degrades fatigue life. For applications above 500°C, protective coatings (such as TiAlN) or high-temperature alloys (Ti-6242, Ti-1100) are recommended. Titanium's melting point (1660°C) is higher than steel, but oxidation limits practical use in air. Security drive features (pin, spanner holes) maintain integrity at elevated temperatures.
Note: Titanium alloys are susceptible to "alpha case" formation above 500°C in air, which embrittles the surface.
Titanium is renowned for its outstanding corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments, often exceeding that of stainless steels and nickel alloys. The protective TiO₂ oxide film (2-5 nm thick) is stable in oxidizing media and rapidly self‑heals if damaged. Titanium is virtually immune to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride environments up to 200°C.
All Titanium security screws are manufactured and tested to meet the following standards:
We offer surface finishes: plain (as‑machined), passivated, anodized.
