RAYCHIN LIMITED is a leading manufacturer of Inconel Threaded Rods – continuous fully threaded studs designed for high-strength fastening, hanging, and anchoring applications in critical assemblies. These Inconel fully threaded rods are available in standard lengths up to 3 meters (120 inches) or custom cut-to-length sizes, with UNC, UNF, and metric coarse/fine threads. Manufactured from premium nickel‑chromium superalloys, they deliver exceptional high‑temperature strength up to 1150°C, outstanding oxidation resistance, and immunity to chloride‑ion stress corrosion cracking. Our portfolio includes all standard and custom configurations manufactured to NAS, AN, MS, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, SAE, API, NACE, ISO, DIN and KS standards. Whether you require Inconel 718 threaded rods for aerospace structural tie-rods, Inconel 625 threaded rods for offshore platform cable trays, or Inconel 600 threaded rods for nuclear reactor internals, RAYCHIN delivers precision, quality, and full traceability. All mechanical properties are presented in MPa and ksi (kilopound per square inch).
Inconel threaded rods feature continuous full-length threads, allowing for cutting to any desired length and use with standard nuts and washers. Available in diameters from #2 to 2" (M2 to M48) and standard lengths of 1m, 2m, 3m (3ft, 6ft, 10ft). Custom cut-to-length services available with precision end squaring and deburring.
Available in Unified Coarse (UNC), Unified Fine (UNF), UNJF-3A (aerospace), and metric coarse threads (M2 to M48). Thread classes 2A, 3A, 6g. Precision rolled threads for superior fatigue life and consistent fit. Left-hand threads available on request. All threads conform to ASME B1.1, ANSI/ASME B1.13M, and ISO 261/262 standards.
Our Inconel threaded rods meet NAS1802, applicable sections of NAS1351/1352, and MS standards for threaded fasteners. Full compliance with AMS 5662 (718), AMS 5666 (625), AMS 5665 (600), and AMS 5667 (X-750) for material and heat treatment. Used in aircraft structural tie-rods, control cable attachments, and avionics rack mounting.
Inconel threaded rods for oil & gas, chemical processing, and power generation manufactured to ASTM B166 (600/601), ASTM B446 (625), ASTM B637 (718/X-750), API 20F, and NACE MR0175/ISO 15156. Supplied with EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certifications and full NDT (PMI, UT, MPI) upon request.
Passivated per ASTM A967, silver plating per AMS 2410 (anti‑seize for high‑temperature), PTFE coating for anti‑galling, electropolished for clean room applications, and zinc‑nickel plating for additional corrosion resistance. Custom finishes available including dry film lubricant (MoS2) for aerospace.
Need a special diameter, extra-long length, dual-end threading, or proprietary material certification? RAYCHIN engineers design and produce custom Inconel threaded rods to your exact specifications – any Inconel grade, any heat treat condition (annealed, aged), with full material traceability. Prototype to production volumes supported.
Inconel 718 threaded rods used as structural tie-rods in airframes, engine mounting systems, and thrust reverser assemblies. Withstand 650°C operating temperatures and extreme vibration. Tensile strength up to 1455 MPa ensures structural integrity under high-G maneuvers. Inconel 718 accounts for over 30% of the total mass of a modern aircraft engine.
Inconel 625 threaded rods and Inconel 718 threaded rods qualified per NACE MR0175 for wellhead equipment, valve bonnets, subsea cable trays, and offshore platform supports. Resist sulfide stress cracking (SSC) and pitting in H₂S/CO₂ environments at elevated pressures and temperatures.
Inconel threaded rods in gas turbines, steam turbines, and nuclear reactors provide reliable fastening of casings, flanges, and support structures. Maintain clamping force after thousands of thermal cycles from -200°C to 700°C without relaxation. Inconel 600 offers excellent performance in nuclear service with resistance to high-purity water corrosion.
Inconel 625 threaded rods resist boiling sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and chlorinated solvents in reactor agitators, pump shafts, and valve assemblies. Immunity to chloride stress corrosion cracking ensures long-term reliability in aggressive media. Used extensively in pickling lines and acid storage tanks.
Inconel threaded rods in seawater pump supports, cable tray hangers, and subsea control modules resist pitting and crevice corrosion in saltwater. Zero fastener failures reported after 3+ years continuous offshore operation. Fully threaded design allows for infinite adjustability in field installations.
Inconel 601 threaded rods used in furnace fixtures, radiant tube supports, and conveyor belt hangers. Superior cyclic oxidation resistance up to 1150°C ensures long service life in air and carburizing atmospheres. Inconel 601 forms a tenacious Al₂O₃ scale that resists spallation under thermal cycling.
RAYCHIN LIMITED manufactures Inconel threaded rods from material conforming to the most widely used national and international specifications. All material is traceable to the mill.
Our Inconel threaded rods are produced from melts conforming to the following limits per ASTM/ASME/AMS.
Metallurgical note: High nickel content (≥50%) provides exceptional resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. Chromium (14–23%) ensures oxidation resistance up to 1150°C. Molybdenum (in 625) and Nb+Ti (in 718/X-750) contribute to solid‑solution strengthening and precipitation hardening. Inconel 718's precipitation-hardened condition provides yield strengths exceeding 1035 MPa (150 ksi), ideal for high-stress threaded rod applications. Inconel 625 is solid-solution strengthened and requires no heat treatment for high strength.
Inconel threaded rods are supplied in solution annealed (600, 625, 601) or age‑hardened (718, X‑750) condition per specification. Data represent typical values based on ASTM, AMS, and industry standards. ksi values (kilopound per square inch) are provided alongside MPa.
Inconel superalloys retain significant strength at elevated temperatures, making Inconel threaded rods ideal for furnace hangers, gas turbine supports, and exhaust system tie-rods. Data below demonstrate the superiority of Inconel 718, 625, and 601 for high‑T applications.
At 650°C, Inconel 718 retains about 80% of its room‑temperature tensile strength, outperforming many other alloys. Inconel 625 and 601 provide outstanding resistance to oxidation and carburization at even higher temperatures, making them excellent choices for high‑temperature threaded rods.
The high nickel and chromium content imparts resistance to a wide range of corrosive media: chlorides, acids, and alkalis. Inconel 625 and Inconel 718 threaded rods are particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion in seawater and sour environments.
All Inconel threaded rods are manufactured and tested to meet:
We offer surface finishes: passivation (ASTM A967), silver plating (AMS 2410 for anti‑seize), PTFE coating, electropolish, and zinc‑nickel plating. Full traceability and destructive/non‑destructive testing available (UT, MPI, PMI).
