310 & 310S Stainless Steel Fasteners: Hex Bolts, Studs, Nuts, Threaded Rod & More for High‑Temperature Service

When your design operates in furnace environments, heat exchangers, or exhaust systems where temperatures can reach 1100°C, 310 and 310S stainless steel fasteners are the proven solution. RAYCHIN LIMITED, a specialist global manufacturer and supplier of high‑temperature alloy fasteners, produces a complete portfolio of 310 hex bolts, 310S stud bolts, socket head cap screws, threaded rod, heavy hex nuts, washers, and 310 flanged bolts—all with full material traceability and certification. This catalog details our product forms, dimensional capabilities, and quality standards.

? RAYCHIN CAPABILITY: We manufacture 310 (UNS S31000) and 310S (UNS S31008) fasteners in‑house—from certified bar stock through CNC machining, thread rolling, and final inspection. Every shipment includes EN 10204 3.1 certification, PMI reports, and mechanical test results.

1. 310 & 310S Fastener Product Range

? 310 Hex Bolts

310 hex bolts are manufactured to ASME B18.2.1, DIN 931/933, and ISO 4014. Available in partial and full thread, they provide excellent oxidation resistance up to 1100°C. Sizes from 1/4″ to 2″ and M6 to M48. Ideal for furnace door clamps, radiant tube supports, and heat‑treat basket assembly.

? 310S Stud Bolts & Threaded Studs

310S stud bolts and 310 stainless steel threaded studs are produced as double‑end studs (ASME B16.5) or fully threaded studs (ASME B18.31.2, DIN 976). Diameters from 1/4″ to 2‑1/2″ and M6 to M64. Lengths up to 3 meters. The low‑carbon 310S variant is preferred for welded joints to avoid intergranular corrosion.

? 310 Stainless Steel Socket Head Cap Screws

310 stainless steel socket head cap screws per ASME B18.3 provide compact, high‑torque fastening in confined hot zones. Sizes from #4 to 1″ and M3 to M24. Common in sensor mounts, linkage pins, and actuator attachments on furnace doors.

? 310 Threaded Rod

310 threaded rod (continuous‑thread studding) is cut to your specified length with chamfered ends. Available in both 310 and 310S, diameters from 1/4″ to 2‑1/2″ and M6 to M64. Full lot certification and PMI testing included as standard.

? 310 Heavy Hex Nuts

310 heavy hex nuts per ASME B18.2.2 and DIN 934 are proof‑load matched to the corresponding bolt or stud. They maintain thread integrity at high temperatures without galling when properly lubricated. All‑metal prevailing‑torque lock nuts also available.

⬜ 310 Washers

310 washers—flat washers per ASME B18.22.1 and DIN 125, spring lock washers per DIN 127. Matching bolt diameters from 1/4″ to 2″ and M6 to M48. They distribute clamp load evenly and protect the flange surface from damage at elevated temperatures.

2. 310 Flanged Bolts and Special Configurations

310 flanged bolts integrate a washer‑like bearing surface under the head, distributing clamp load over a wider area. RAYCHIN can manufacture these to your specific dimensional requirements—head diameter, flange thickness, under‑head fillet radius—as well as produce stepped studs, reduced‑shank bolts, and body‑bound fasteners from your engineering drawings. Our CNC machining centers accept CAD files in all common formats.

310 bolts metric capability is fully supported—RAYCHIN stocks metric‑diameter bar and can produce metric threads per ISO 261/965. Simply specify the standard and dimensions on your RFQ.

4. 310 vs 310S: Which to Choose?

Select 310 (UNS S31000) for general high‑temperature bolting where oxidation resistance up to 1100°C is the primary requirement and the parts are not welded. Choose 310S (UNS S31008) when the fasteners are part of a welded assembly or when they may be exposed to the sensitization temperature range (450–850°C) for extended periods. The low‑carbon grade prevents chromium‑carbide precipitation at grain boundaries, maintaining intergranular corrosion resistance. RAYCHIN stocks both alloys and can advise on the optimal choice for your service conditions.

5. Quality Assurance and Certification

Every 310 and 310S fastener shipment from RAYCHIN includes:

  • Material certification to ASTM A276, ASTM A193 (Grade B8N adapted), or customer‑specified standards.
  • EN 10204 Type 3.1 certificate (Type 3.2 with independent third‑party witness on request).
  • Positive Material Identification (PMI) report—OES analysis on finished fasteners.
  • Mechanical test report: tensile, yield, elongation, and hardness.
  • Optional high‑temperature anti‑seize coatings for galling‑free assembly at elevated temperatures.
