Alloy 330 Fasteners

Alloy 330 Screws

Alloy 330 Screws are specifically designed for high temperature furnace applications such as vacuum furnaces, heat treating and brazing applications. The most prized trait of alloy 330 is its ability perform under cyclic conditions of temperature extremes from heating and cooling; as well as in alternate carburizing and oxidizing atmospheres. An austenitic, nickel-chromium-iron-silicon alloy, Alloy 330 Screws also offer industry a low coefficient of expansion, excellent ductility, and high strength.

Alloy 330 Screws: High-Temperature Austenitic Screws for Extreme Environments

UNS N08330 / W. Nr. 1.4886 / RA330 / Incoloy 330

RAYCHIN LIMITED is a recognized expert in Alloy 330 screws — from Alloy 330 hex head screws, Alloy 330 socket head cap screws, Alloy 330 set screws to custom non-standard configurations. Alloy 330 (UNS N08330) is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium superalloy with silicon addition, specifically designed for high-temperature service up to 1150°C (2100°F). This alloy offers exceptional resistance to carburization, oxidation, and thermal shock, making it the preferred material for screws in heat treating equipment, furnace components, gas turbines, petrochemical processing, and other high-temperature industrial applications. The alloy's high nickel content (34-37%) provides excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and maintains a stable austenitic structure at all temperatures. Silicon addition (0.75-1.5%) enhances oxidation and carburization resistance at elevated temperatures. Our portfolio includes screws manufactured to NAS, AN, MS, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, SAE, API, NACE, ISO, DIN and KS standards. Engineered for extreme environments where high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance are critical. Alloy 330 screws are supplied in solution annealed condition with full traceability and third-party certifications.

Key Benefits of Alloy 330 Screws

Exceptional High-Temperature Strength

Alloy 330 maintains useful mechanical properties up to 1150°C (2100°F). At 800°C, tensile strength remains at 150-200 MPa, significantly higher than standard stainless steels. Excellent creep strength at 980°C with 15-20 MPa for 1000 hours.

Superior Carburization & Oxidation Resistance

Silicon addition (0.75-1.5%) enhances resistance to carburizing and oxidizing atmospheres up to 1150°C. Chromium forms a protective Cr₂O₃ scale, while silicon contributes to a complex silicate layer that provides exceptional protection in aggressive environments.

Thermal Cycling Resistance

Stable austenitic structure at all temperatures provides excellent resistance to thermal shock and thermal fatigue. Low thermal expansion coefficient (14.4-18.0 x 10⁻⁶/°C) matches many ceramics and reduces stress during thermal cycling.

Chloride SCC Immunity

With 34-37% nickel content, Alloy 330 offers practical immunity to chloride stress corrosion cracking, making it suitable for applications where both high temperature and chlorides are present.

Stable Austenitic Structure

Remains fully austenitic at all temperatures without sigma phase embrittlement. Magnetic permeability ≤ 1.02, suitable for non-magnetic applications.

Excellent Ductility

High elongation (40-50% at room temperature, 25-35% at 1000°C) ensures good formability and resistance to thermal fatigue cracking.
