RAYCHIN LIMITED is a recognized expert in Incoloy vented screws — from Incoloy center vented screws, Incoloy vacuum vented screws, Incoloy socket head vented screws, Incoloy hex head vented screws to custom non-standard configurations across all major Incoloy grades. Vented screws feature a precision-drilled axial bore from the head through the threaded shank, providing an outlet for the complete evacuation of trapped air and gas contaminants from blind-tapped holes, bottoms, sides, and shoulders. This design eliminates virtual leaks and enables faster pump-down times in high-temperature vacuum systems. Incoloy alloys are nickel-iron-chromium superalloys designed for high-temperature and corrosive service. The family includes Incoloy 800 series (800, 800H, 800HT) optimized for high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance up to 1150°C, and Incoloy 825/925 grades with molybdenum and copper additions for exceptional resistance to reducing acids and sour gas environments. The high nickel content ensures resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, while chromium provides oxidation resistance. Our portfolio includes vented screws manufactured to NAS, AN, MS, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, SAE, API, NACE, ISO, DIN and KS standards. Engineered for the most demanding environments where high-temperature strength, corrosion resistance, and vacuum performance are critical. Incoloy vented screws are supplied in solution annealed condition (or aged for 925) with full traceability and third-party certifications.
Incoloy vented screws feature a precision-drilled axial bore from the head through the threaded shank. This center vent hole provides an outlet for trapped gases, eliminating virtual leaks and enabling faster pump-down times in high-temperature vacuum systems. The vent diameter is precisely controlled to maintain optimal mechanical strength while providing efficient gas evacuation.
In standard screws, trapped air and gas contaminants in blind-tapped holes create virtual leaks that compromise vacuum quality. The center vent design allows these gases to be pumped away from bottoms, sides, and shoulders, ensuring complete evacuation and maintaining high vacuum integrity at elevated temperatures.
By providing escape routes for trapped gases, Incoloy vented screws significantly reduce the time required to achieve target vacuum levels. This is particularly critical in semiconductor processing, research chambers, and high-temperature vacuum furnaces where productivity depends on rapid cycling.
During thermal cycling in high-temperature vacuum applications, vented screws allow for constant pressure equalization across system components, preventing pressure differentials that could compromise sealing integrity or cause mechanical stress.
Incoloy socket head vented cap screws feature a cylindrical head with hex socket drive and precision-drilled center vent. The controlled fillet under the head reduces stress concentration and improves fatigue life in thermal cycling applications. Ideal for high-temperature vacuum applications up to 1150°C for grade 800 series, and up to 540°C for acid service with grade 825. Available in sizes from M3 to M36 (metric) and #0 to 1-1/2" (inch). Precision rolled threads and clean vent holes ensure superior performance in UHV environments.
Incoloy hex head vented cap screws manufactured to DIN 931, DIN 933, ISO 4014, ISO 4017, and ASME B18.2.1 standards with precision center vent. Features a six-sided head for external wrenching, providing high torque capability and positive drive. Available in partial thread or full thread configurations. Ideal for high-temperature vacuum applications requiring external wrenching and virtual leak elimination. Available in sizes from M6 to M48 (metric) and 1/4" to 2" (inch) with custom vent diameters.
Incoloy button head vented screws feature a low-profile domed head with hex socket drive and precision center vent. The smooth, rounded head reduces turbulence in fluid applications and provides clean appearance. Ideal for vacuum chambers, semiconductor equipment, and clean room applications where aesthetics and vacuum performance are important. Available in sizes from M3 to M24 and #4 to 1" with various vent diameters. Precision rolled threads for superior fatigue resistance.
Incoloy flat head vented screws feature a countersunk head designed to sit flush with the surface for aerodynamic or aesthetic requirements, with precision center vent. Available with 82° (inch) or 90° (metric) head angles. Ideal for applications requiring flush mounting in high-temperature vacuum environments, such as vacuum chambers, particle accelerators, and semiconductor processing equipment. Sizes from M3 to M24 and #4 to 1".
Incoloy vented set screws available with cup point, cone point, flat point, and half-dog point configurations with precision center vents. Designed for securing rotating parts in high-temperature vacuum environments where trapped gases must be eliminated. Ideal for furnace components, vacuum furnace rollers, and heat treating fixtures. Available with hex socket or slotted drive. Sizes from M3 to M24 and #0 to 1".
