RAYCHIN LIMITED is a leading manufacturer of Inconel Vented Screws – precision fasteners featuring an axial through-hole (vent hole) designed to release trapped gases from blind threaded holes. These Inconel hollow screws are essential for vacuum systems, semiconductor manufacturing, and chemical processing where outgassing can compromise process integrity. The vent hole allows trapped air or process gases to escape, preventing contamination and enabling faster vacuum drawdown. Available in socket head cap, pan head, and flat head configurations, with custom hole diameters and depths. Manufactured from premium nickel‑chromium superalloys, they deliver exceptional high‑temperature strength up to 1150°C (2100°F), outstanding oxidation resistance, and immunity to chloride‑ion stress corrosion cracking. Our portfolio includes all standard and custom configurations manufactured to NAS, AN, MS, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, SAE, API, NACE, ISO, DIN and KS standards. Whether you require Inconel 718 vented screws for aerospace vacuum chambers, Inconel 625 vented screws for chemical reactors, or Inconel 600 vented screws for semiconductor equipment, RAYCHIN delivers precision, quality, and full traceability. All mechanical properties are presented in MPa and ksi.
Inconel vented screws feature a precision-drilled axial through-hole extending the full length of the screw. Hole diameters typically range from 0.5mm to 3mm depending on screw size, with custom diameters available. The vent hole allows trapped gases to escape from blind holes, preventing virtual leaks and enabling rapid vacuum pump-down.
Available in Inconel vented socket head cap screws (most common), pan head, flat head (82°/100°), and button head. Drive types: hex socket (Allen), Torx, Phillips, slotted. Hex socket sizes per ASME B18.3, NAS1351/1352. Custom drive depths and tamper-resistant options available.
Inconel vented screws available with Unified Coarse (UNC), Unified Fine (UNF), UNJF-3A (aerospace), and metric coarse/fine threads. Thread classes 2A, 3A, 6g. Sizes from #2 to 1" (M2 to M24). Precision rolled threads for superior fatigue life. Full thread standard; partial thread available for custom applications.
Our Inconel vented screws meet NAS1351/1352 (socket head cap), MS16995 (reduced head), and custom vented configurations per customer drawings. Full compliance with AMS 5662 (718), AMS 5666 (625), and AMS 5665 (600) for material and heat treatment.
Inconel vented screws for oil & gas, chemical processing, and power generation manufactured to ASTM B166 (600), ASTM B446 (625), ASTM B637 (718/X-750), API 20F, and NACE MR0175/ISO 15156. Supplied with EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certifications and full NDT (PMI, UT, MPI) upon request.
Need a special hole diameter, extra-long length, or proprietary head markings? RAYCHIN engineers design and produce custom Inconel vented screws to your exact specifications – any Inconel grade, any heat treat condition (annealed, aged), with full material traceability. Prototype to production volumes supported.
Inconel vented screws used in vacuum chambers, etching equipment, CVD/PVD systems, and flat panel display (FPD) production tools. The vent hole prevents virtual leaks in blind threaded holes, ensuring ultra-high vacuum integrity (10⁻⁹ Torr range). Cleanroom packaged and electropolished finishes available.
Inconel 718 vented screws in space simulation chambers, vacuum test stands, and cryogenic systems. Withstand 650°C bake-out cycles and extreme thermal gradients. Vent hole eliminates trapped gas pockets that could compromise test results.
Inconel 625 vented screws in reactors, distillation columns, and heat exchangers where trapped gases could cause corrosion cells or process contamination. Vent hole allows continuous purging of blind holes in aggressive acid environments.
Inconel 600 vented screws in reactor vessel internals, control rod mechanisms, and spent fuel handling equipment. Vent hole prevents gas accumulation in high-radiation environments. Resistant to high-purity water corrosion.
Inconel vented screws in electron microscope stages, mass spectrometers, and surface analysis tools. Non-magnetic properties and vent hole design ensure stable vacuum and eliminate beam interference.
Inconel 601 vented screws in vacuum furnace hot zones, heating element supports, and heat shields. Superior cyclic oxidation resistance up to 1150°C combined with vent hole for outgassing during initial heat-up.
RAYCHIN LIMITED manufactures Inconel vented screws from material conforming to the most widely used national and international specifications. All material is traceable to the mill.
Our Inconel vented screws are produced from melts conforming to the following limits per ASTM/ASME/AMS.
Metallurgical note: High nickel content (≥50%) provides exceptional resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. Chromium (14–23%) ensures oxidation resistance up to 1150°C. Molybdenum (in 625) and Nb+Ti (in 718/X-750) contribute to solid‑solution strengthening and precipitation hardening, giving these Inconel vented screws their signature high‑temperature strength and corrosion resistance.
Inconel vented screws are supplied in solution annealed (600, 625, 601) or age‑hardened (718, X‑750) condition per specification. Data represent typical values based on ASTM, AMS, and industry standards. ksi values (kilopound per square inch) are provided alongside MPa.
Inconel superalloys retain significant strength at elevated temperatures, making Inconel vented screws ideal for high-temperature vacuum furnaces, gas turbines, and exhaust systems. Data below demonstrate the superiority of Inconel 718, 625, and 601 for high‑T applications.
At 650°C, Inconel 718 retains about 80% of its room‑temperature tensile strength, outperforming many other alloys. Inconel 625 and 601 provide outstanding resistance to oxidation and carburization at even higher temperatures, making them excellent choices for high‑temperature vented screws.
The high nickel and chromium content imparts resistance to a wide range of corrosive media: chlorides, acids, and alkalis. Inconel 625 and Inconel 718 vented screws are particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion in seawater and sour environments.
All Inconel vented screws are manufactured and tested to meet:
We offer surface finishes: passivation (ASTM A967), electropolished (Ra <0.4µm for cleanroom), silver plating (AMS 2410 for anti‑seize), PTFE coating. Cleanroom packaging available for semiconductor and medical applications. Full traceability and destructive/non‑destructive testing available (UT, MPI, PMI).
