Alloy 330 Fasteners

Alloy 330 Torx Screws

Alloy 330 Torx Screws are specifically designed for high temperature furnace applications such as vacuum furnaces, heat treating and brazing applications. The most prized trait of alloy 330 is its ability perform under cyclic conditions of temperature extremes from heating and cooling; as well as in alternate carburizing and oxidizing atmospheres. An austenitic, nickel-chromium-iron-silicon alloy, Alloy 330 Torx Screws also offer industry a low coefficient of expansion, excellent ductility, and high strength.

Corrosion Resistance of Alloy 330 Torx Screws

While Alloy 330 is optimized for high‑temperature environments, it offers good resistance to many corrosive conditions:

  • Oxidation & carburization: Exceptional resistance in air, combustion gases, and sulfur‑bearing atmospheres up to 1150°C.
  • Nitriding: Good resistance to nitrogen‑rich atmospheres (e.g., cracked ammonia).
  • Stress corrosion cracking: High nickel content (34‑37%) provides immunity to chloride SCC.
  • Aqueous corrosion: Similar to 310 stainless; suitable for organic acids, but NOT intended for strong reducing acids or chloride pitting environments.
  • Oxidizing sulfur: Performs well in oxidizing sulfur atmospheres.
Corrosion note: Alloy 330 is not designed for seawater or strong chloride solutions (for those we offer 254 SMO). It excels in dry, oxidizing, carburizing, and nitriding atmospheres up to 1150°C.

Precision Manufacturing & Global Standards Compliance
