Ideal for general assembly applications requiring corrosion resistance in medical devices, electronics, and marine environments. Grade 2 offers excellent formability; Grade 5 provides high strength for load‑bearing applications.
Titanium Phillips pan head screws conforming to ISO 7045 and DIN 7985 (metric) and ASME B18.6.3 (inch with Type I cross recess). Available with Phillips drive sizes #0 to #4. Widely used in electronic components, medical devices, and semiconductor equipment where reliable drive engagement and corrosion resistance are critical. Grade 23 ELI per ASTM F136 ensures biocompatibility for medical implants. Grade 5 offers high strength for aerospace and automotive applications.
Titanium Pozidriv pan head screws feature an improved cross recess design for higher torque transmission and reduced cam-out. Manufactured to ISO 7045 and DIN 7985 specifications. Available in sizes M2 to M8 with Pozidriv sizes #1 to #3. Used in precision assembly applications where consistent torque control is essential. Titanium's biocompatibility and corrosion resistance make these screws suitable for surgical instruments and medical devices.
Titanium Torx pan head screws feature a hexalobular drive for improved torque transfer and reduced cam-out. Manufactured to ISO 14583 and custom specifications. Available in sizes M2 to M12 with Torx drive sizes T6 to T40. Ideal for high‑reliability applications in aerospace, defense, and automotive racing where positive drive engagement is critical. Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) provides maximum strength; Grade 2 offers superior corrosion resistance for marine environments.
Titanium metric pan head machine screws manufactured to DIN 84 (slotted) and ISO 1207. Precision rolled threads with close tolerances. Available in M1.6 to M12 diameters with various lengths. Widely used in European semiconductor equipment, pharmaceutical machinery, and precision instrumentation. Titanium's high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance ensure long‑term reliability in harsh processing environments.
Need special drive configurations (hex, square), extra‑long lengths, non‑standard thread forms, or unusual diameters? RAYCHIN engineers design and produce custom Titanium pan head screws to your exact specifications – any grade (Grade 2, Grade 5, Grade 7, Grade 23), any condition (annealed, STA), with full material traceability. Prototype to production volumes supported. Cleanroom wash and packaging available for medical and semiconductor applications.
Titanium pan head screws are widely used in surgical instruments, orthopedic external fixators, and medical device assemblies. Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) screws per ASTM F136 offer enhanced ductility and biocompatibility for applications requiring contact with human tissue. The pan head provides a low profile and smooth surface, minimizing tissue irritation. Titanium's complete biocompatibility, non‑toxicity, and MRI compatibility make it the material of choice for medical applications.
Titanium pan head screws in electronic enclosures, circuit board mounts, and semiconductor processing equipment. Titanium's low vapor pressure, high purity, and resistance to corrosive process gases make it essential for critical applications. Pan head screws secure covers, heat sinks, and components where metallic contamination cannot be tolerated. High‑purity titanium (99.95%+) ensures process integrity in wafer fabrication and cleanroom environments.
Titanium pan head screws in aircraft interiors, instrumentation panels, and secondary structures. Grade 5 screws offer weight savings of 60% compared to steel while maintaining high strength. The pan head provides a large bearing surface for secure fastening of lightweight composite materials. Used in commercial aircraft, helicopters, and military vehicles where corrosion resistance and weight reduction are critical.
Titanium pan head screws in shipbuilding, offshore platforms, and marine instrumentation. Titanium is virtually immune to seawater corrosion, with no measurable attack after decades of immersion. Grade 2 screws provide excellent formability and corrosion resistance for non‑critical applications. Grade 5 offers higher strength for structural connections in underwater housings, valve actuators, and sensor mounts.
Titanium pan head screws in chemical reactors, heat exchangers, and piping systems handling aggressive media such as chlorides, nitric acid, and organic acids. Grade 7 (0.12-0.25% Pd) offers enhanced corrosion resistance in reducing acid environments where crevice corrosion may occur. Pan head screws secure instrument covers, access panels, and component attachments in equipment where fastener failure could lead to hazardous leaks.
Titanium pan head screws in high‑performance automotive components, racing motorcycles, and motorsports. Weight reduction of every gram improves performance. Titanium pan head screws are used in body panels, interior trim, and engine dress-up kits. Grade 5 provides strength comparable to steel at half the weight. The pan head profile offers a clean appearance and adequate clamping area for sheet metal and plastic components.
RAYCHIN LIMITED manufactures Titanium pan head screws from material conforming to the most widely used national and international specifications. All material is traceable to the mill.
Our Titanium pan head screws are produced from material conforming to the limits of applicable ASTM, AMS, and ISO standards. High‑purity grades available for medical and semiconductor applications.
Metallurgical note: Titanium is an allotropic element with a hexagonal close-packed (α) structure at room temperature, transforming to body-centered cubic (β) at 882°C. CP grades are α-phase, while alloying with aluminum stabilizes α-phase, and vanadium/molybdenum stabilize β-phase. Ti-6Al-4V is an α+β alloy combining high strength with good ductility. The natural oxide layer (TiO₂) is 2-5 nm thick, self‑healing, and responsible for titanium's exceptional corrosion resistance. Titanium is non‑magnetic with magnetic permeability <1.00005.
Titanium pan head screws are supplied in appropriate conditions (annealed for CP grades, solution treated and aged for Grade 5) per ASTM B348, ASTM F136, and customer specifications. Data represent typical values based on industry standards.
Note: Prolonged exposure above 300°C may cause oxidation; protective coatings recommended above 500°C.
Titanium alloys retain significant strength at elevated temperatures up to 500°C, making them suitable for aerospace and automotive applications. Ti-6Al-4V maintains useful mechanical properties up to 315°C (600°F) for extended service, and up to 500°C (932°F) for short-term exposure. The alloy exhibits excellent creep resistance at moderate temperatures. However, titanium becomes increasingly reactive with oxygen above 500°C, forming an oxygen-enriched brittle α-case layer that degrades fatigue life. For applications above 500°C, protective coatings (such as TiAlN) or high-temperature alloys (Ti-6242, Ti-1100) are recommended. Titanium's melting point (1660°C) is higher than steel, but oxidation limits practical use in air.
Note: Titanium alloys are susceptible to "alpha case" formation above 500°C in air, which embrittles the surface.
Titanium is renowned for its outstanding corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments, often exceeding that of stainless steels and nickel alloys. The protective TiO₂ oxide film (2-5 nm thick) is stable in oxidizing media and rapidly self‑heals if damaged. Titanium is virtually immune to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride environments up to 200°C.
All Titanium pan head screws are manufactured and tested to meet the following standards:
